To be perfectly honest, it may come across as strange that a piano tuner in London Ontario would endorse the use of a digital piano.  In the basest sense, it quite well could put me out of work.  But for the benefit of my valued customers I should like to recommend a digital piano (if you are set on buying digital for reasons of your own).  The Modus by Yamaha is a superb instrument that plays very nearly like an acoustic piano.  It has wooden keys that simulate the touch and feel of an acoustic piano without the fuss of keeping the piano maintained with regular tuning and voicing.  The samples are quite advanced and the dynamics superb.  All and all a professional level instrument that comes rather close to capturing the ambiance and feel of a traditional acoustic piano.  You can try out the Modus at our Yamaha dealer here in London, D&S Pianos.
